Pipe Major Alan Bevan

Terry Lee & Alan Bevan
With over 30 years at the helm of the Simon Fraser University Pipe Band, Pipe Major Terry Lee has made the tough decision to take a small step back from the competition band. Terry will still remain very close to all aspects of the band including playing, tuning, music construction, instruction, and administration, but has led the band onto the competition field for the last time.

Terry is passing on the role of active Pipe Major to the two-time gold medalist Alan Bevan who is confident that, with Terry, Reid, and Jack close by his side and a core of dedicated and talented musicians with which to work, the band will continue forward without missing a beat.

Please join the band in congratulating Terry for 36 incredible years as Pipe Major and 30 consecutive years leading the SFU Pipe Band at the World Championships.
